The Plastikov is a 3D printed variant of the AK-47 rifle. Developed by Ivan the Troll, the Plastikov consists of commonly available AK-47 parts and a reinforced thermoplastic receiver made by 3D printing.
The rifle is semi-automatic and fires the popular 7.62x39mm cartridge.
The 3D printed frame can safely function for over 1,000 rounds and costs only a few dollars to produce.
The weapon can be made without any government documentation and does not have a serial number. If recovered, it is difficult or impossible to determine where the rifle originated.
3D printed guns are quickly restoring the right to keep and bear arms to anyone with an internet connection.
